Thanks to Christopher Abele, Jr, the AHS Museum is getting a face lift and some added ‘curb appeal’. Christopher is working on his Eagle Scout project. He and several friends were at the museum this weekend working on our hillside to strengthen the hill, create a retaining wall, and make a prettier spot for flowers and bushes.
After Christopher is done with the hard part, we will still want to fill in with bulbs, perennials, and some evergreen bushes. If you’d like to donate toward the new hillside landscaping project, please make checks payable to the AHS, and indicate ‘Eagle Scout Landscaping Project’ on the memo (and we always love cash, too).
We love to see teens and adults enhancing the history and beauty of the museum. If you have an idea for a project, contact Bernie Wilde to discuss it. We have so many more ideas for improvements than we have funding or volunteer labor, so we LOVE ideas, donations, and volunteers! Be a part of our mission to Preserve and Share Arnold’s Long & Rich History through your local museum.
